We have been on FasterFibre for at least a year but I have signed up for an upgrade to Fibre65 with effect from 28th April. I did a speed test and that was OK, download = 22.96. More recently, and this is why I contacted the community, we have lost the apps altogether. We don't record, just watch content on demand. I must say we have never had any problem with receiving TV channels direct. However on going 'back' we were able to use them (mainly BBC IPlayer and Netflix).

The reason for the caution on using Factory Reset is because a lot of customers are still using the old recording 372T boxes and a Factory Reset will lose all of their recordings.Īs you can probably see from the emails the community sent me the issue is not yet resolved.įor a few months when we wanted to use an app via the YouView box we first got a message to say that our TV signal was weak (YVM503). As has advised you will need a stable internet connection.

If they are showing orange or red then I would suspect that this is your problem. If you are using them then you should unplug them for a couple of minutes and check that they are both showing 3 green lights with no occasional orange or red lights flickering on the middle one. If you use PLA's this could be the cause as they are notorious for erratically dropping connections and sometimes need factory resetting to cure this. The box connected DIRECTLY to the router by a lead or are you using Power Line Adapters? A number of these Apps need both an internet and aerial connection to function properly.
